T-Fal Performance Stainless Steel Copper Bottom 12.5 Inch Fry Pan Great skillet, (What's this?) Another great skillet, my daughter loves it and she loves the quality of it. Cooked an omolete in it and she said it came out perfect. Good brand.
I use it everyday!, (What's this?) The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because I haven't had it long enough for longevity. We use this pan everyday, sometimes twice a day. It took a while to figure out how to make a fried egg. We are used to the non-sticks. I will buy the other pans that match this one, when I can.
fry pan, (What's this?) love it, debated a long time before I settled for this pan and a set that matches it. works great and holds enough for a family of 5.
Fantastic Cookware, (What's this?) I bought this T-Fal Stainless 12.5" Fry Pan to go with the T-Fal 12pc set. I love cooking with this pan. Following the care instructions to first season the pans and cook on low heat make cooking and clean up a breeze. Reviews were very good on the T-Fal stainless so I went for it. I couldn't be happier and the price was great.
I'm very pleased with this cookware!, This is the first non-stainless steel frying pan that I have purchased. I was tired of the material flaking off the stainless steel pans, so I hopefully gave this one a try. It cooks very evenly and works well. It is easy to clean, too. The food doesn't quite slide off as easily as it does on stainless steel, but hard scrubbing wasn't required, either. I plan to get more pans like this.
Fantastic, (What's this?) for the prices that Tfal offers, it is simply one of the best brands to buy if you cannot afford the unbelievable expensive calphalon, cuisinart etc...
for a 1/3 of the price you will an excellent pan that heats up quickly, distributes heat evenly and cleans like a CHARM!
this is the first stainless steel pan that I have owned and so far it's been amazing.
For those people complaining about sticking... it's stainless steel folks you need to know how to adjust the heat correctly for food not to stick
There are certain tips and tricks that chefs in restaurants use to prevent sticking on stainless steel cookware one of them was by none other than Alton Brown in his Good Eats show where he was pan searing a fish fillet.
His trick was to put some form of fat in the pan first (oil, butter etc...) and as soon as the fish hits the HEATED pan, move it by shaking the pan back and forth for like 30 seconds and that will prevent the fish from sticking to the pan until it forms a nice crust on its outside
This is not the best stainless steel pan you can ever buy, but for under 30$ it surpasses many others than cost more than twice as much. Tfal is still one of my favorite brands to use. Most of my kitchen ware consists of Tfal pots and pans and I have been very happy with them.
Not really what I was looking for, I bought this pan for about 60 dollars at Kohl's. I had heard good things about the copper core design, and thought I would give this a try.
I cook a lot. I cook dinner for myself and by fiance almost every night, and make good use of this pan. It is a lot less than what I expected, and certainly not worth what I paid for it (although to be fair I was ripped off, since it is about half price on here).
The heating seems to be uneven to me. I have to move the pan around to different positions to get the whole thing to heat up properly, otherwise the food will burn in places and be raw in others. It also sticks. HORRIBLY STICKS. Everything sticks to it, including ground beef! I have tried every temperature setting and every kind of oil you can imagine, and everything still seems to stick. It will peel the skin right off of chicken! (And in case you were wondering, I do not have this problem with other stainless steel pans I own, so it's not just me being a terrible cook).
Cleaning is a little difficult as well, since there is always a layer of stuck food at the bottom. I've also noticed that they don't stay particularly shiny.
