very large capacity, (What's this?) Can cook a large amount of food at once..only drawback is it ticks and makes noise when cooking, so I don't think it is a solid stainless. Still good value and is stainless all over.
Not as described, (What's this?) I went to Range Kleen's website before buying this product to make sure it was induction compatible. This is the exact product description from their website:
"12 inch Stainless Steel Covered Chicken Fryer
Stainless Steel construction offers durability as well as fast, easy clean-up. Oven proof to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Dishwasher safe. Encapsulated bottom distributes heat evenly for maximum cooking results. Compatible with all range types, (electric, halogen, induction, gas, ceramic/glass and solid plate). Clear Tempered Glass Lid. Limited Lifetime Household Warranty."
So I bought the product. It arrived today and I tested its induction compatibility with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to it. I looked at the box the skillet came in and it says this:
"Range Kleen cookware is compatible with MOST range types - electric, halogen, gas, ceramic/glass - smooth top and solid plate."
Now there's no mention of the induction range type. That's very shady of them to say one thing on their website to get you to buy the product, and then say something different when the product arrives.
