Jo!e Whisky Egg Non-Stick Double Sided Omelette Pan love it, (What's this?) I purchased this omelet maker for my mother in law for mother's day and she absolutely loves it. I am so happy.
Jo!e omelet ease pan, I have purchased 2 of these pans from debenhams quite Pricey £22 but there was a sale on so I got them for £16 each really pleased with it and so are all my family,we've done some lovely tasting omelets but the favorite is the stuffed chesse and ham I have put a demo on you tube showing how to make it,it does not get going till 1minute 35 seconds but it's worth a look, this is the link to it,if it doesn't work just put omelet ease pan in you tube search box and it should bring it up,but try this link first.....<...>
Happy Omleting Mike.
Pretty good little pan., (What's this?) I checked through all the reviews for an omelette pan that turns over to flip the omelette. I purchased the electric pan from this site and was not too happy with it on first try. Rather expensive, too, so disappointing.
Anyway, I thought I would try this little pan since, of the on-the-stove omelette pans that are intended to be flipped, it seemed to have the best overall ratings. Also, I will be making omelettes just for myself, nearly always, so I don't want or need a larger pan.
Cute omelette pan, (What's this?) I would give this Jo!e omelette pan 5*'s if it were a little bigger just to let readers know not to expect a bigger size. This little omelette pan does the trick for me --- a challenged omelette maker. Finally, I can flip and make a nice-looking puffy edible omelette. It holds 2 beaten eggs but might leak a little when you flip the pan if you add onions, peppers & cheese like I do.
Wonderful omelettes, I impulsively bought this product at somewhere other than Amazon, but as usual Amazon sells everything so I thought I'd come over here to look for reviews. I wasn't an omelet eater until I bought this, now I eat them at least 2 times per week. I've read many of the reviews here and I don't know if it's the product that's faulty or the operator. The first time I used this pan I sprayed it with Pam and in the process of cooking got oil everywhere.
After that my method was to saute bacon, onion and, optionally, green or jalapeno pepper in a little butter and olive oil until onions are transparent. Chop or shred any cheeses and put aside. Drop just a bit of butter in the Omelet Ease and pre-heat over medium burner. Add your cheese to omelet mixture, pour in pan, lock handle, cook for 3 minutes, flip sharply, cook for 3 more minutes, slip onto plate, enjoy. The bacon, EVOO, and butter was enough without added spray oil to keep the omelet from sticking. One key step is to make sure the pan is hot enough. Flick beads of water in the heating pan, and if they dance madly across the surface the pan is ready.
There's a small flyer attached to the pan that calls for cooking each side 3 minutes, not 2 1/2 minutes, not 4 minutes. I have a glass cook-top stove; I don't know how different conditions are with gas burner stoves and regular coil electric stoves, but their instructions work perfect for me. Will my pan start failing me? The non-stick coating? Locks and hinges? I don't know, but it's been a good 2 months for me and no problems yet.
Buy only if for a joke, (What's this?) This is indeed the worse product I've ever ordered from Amazon. I thought it was a mistake when it finally arrived. A child's toy is larger. My husband said how cute, let's try it. Well I followed the only directions which stated to use oil or spray on their so-called no stick surface. I made the first omelet it slid out of the pan, I made the second one it slid out of the pan. I washed by hand with soap and water. The second and third time I tried to make a cute little omelet it stuck to whatever kind of inexpensive coating they call non-stick even though I did coat the pan on both sides. It was impossible to use. I told my husband to throw it away as I didn't even want to be bothered spending money sending it back, he took it out of the house and said he would, however, I doubt he did. We love omelets but will never order anything from this company again. By the way, this product was not the most inexpensive offered either.
This pan ROCKS for egg beaters to make a b-fast sandwich!, (What's this?) This pan has been a life saver for making a healthy breakfast sandwich. I use 1/2 cup of egg beaters.
Purchasing ANOTHER pan!, (What's this?) GREAT product... I ( a guy ) did terrible omlets... my skills are NOT good at that one.. BUT with this little pan.. PERFECT omlets the FIRST time! They even look as good as a Bed and Breakfast would have.. and SO easy. You will love it.
RIP-OFF DONT BUY., (What's this?) I bought it and it worked the first time I tried it butafter a few times the eggs were not coming out the way they were supposed to. It sticks to the pan and the eggs inflate and they burn. Also, I would not recommend to use more that 1 egg at a time because the center will be raw and the outside wil be burned. I bought it at $15 and even at that price I think it was a rip off.
Awesome Omlet Pan!, (What's this?) I ordered this pan so that I could stop microwaving my eggs every morning -- which I've done up till now because my stomach is sensitive to oils cooked at high temps and microwaving allowed me to cook the eggs without any cooking oil. This pan is great! It fits two eggs + 1 egg white perfectly. No oil is needed in the pan to cook them and they come out fluffy and perfectly cooked with very little effort on my part. I cook them on medium heat for 4 minutes on the first side and then 2-3 additional minutes after I've flipped the pan. It's easy to clean and there is no mess.
